This Thanksgiving, relive the past of the Oldest Public High School Football Rivalry in the Country, with The Needham Channel’s Thanksgiving Football Marathon on our Education Channel!
It all begins Wednesday, November 27th, with our 2017 special, “The Needham-Wellesley Football Rivalry: Three Decades of Turkey Day TV,” and concludes with the 2018 game, then begins Thanksgiving morning 2am with the 2007 overtime classic, finishing with our new special, “A Game to Remember: Thanksgiving 1994,” and the 2019 edition of the game. Those two programs will then play throughout the day on Friday.
Also of note, the debut airings of the 2019 Thanksgiving Football showdown between Needham and Wellesley will be at 7pm Thanksgiving night on our HD (Verizon only Channel 2129) and Community Channels (Comcast Channel 9, RCN Channel 15, Verizon Channel 29).
