The fourth meeting of the month, the Needham School Committee has been putting in extra hours deliberating next year’s budget. With the Town Manager set to deliver a balanced town budget to the Select Board the next day, the committee heard and voted on the budget laid out by Superintendent Dan Gutekanst. While he admits he is not exactly pleased with all the decisions within the budget, he felt that it was a strong plan which preserves the character and hallmarks of a Needham Public School education.
