Zoning Board of Appeals, 9/21/23

The Zoning Board met for a quick, but poignant meeting on September 21st. Chair Jon Schneider bid farewell to the board, and the committee reorganized, with Jon Tamkin taking the lead role, and the Howard Goldman moving up to vice-chair. They each took time to share their appreciation of Jon Schneider, and laid down the path for the future of the ZBA. The meeting is currently available for viewing in the window below:

Case #1 – 1458 Great Plain Avenue
Tobin Beaudet Schools, Inc., has applied for a Special Permit Amendment to waive strict adherence to the number of parking spaces required and parking plan and design requirements. This request is associated with the increase of children at 1458 Great Plain Avenue who are temporarily relocated because of a six- to-nine-month construction project at 72 School Street. The property is located in the Single Residence B (SR-B) District.
Applicant requests a Withdrawal Without Prejudice.

Case #2 – 1111 Highland Avenue
Norfolk Lodge A.F. & A.M. requests a continuation of the Special Permit granted on October 16, 1997 to allow the sale and storage of Christmas trees and related items.
