A Chance to Raise Awareness

On August 31st, community members gathered at Memorial Park to raise awareness of the impact overdose deaths has on all communities. Amid flags representing those who lost their lives to overdose, speakers fought against the stigma around addiction and substance use and offered solace to the survivors who carry this message forward.

There is more work to be done! The Becca Schmill Foundation is hosting a Walk-About for Fentanyl Awareness on October 15th, and they are looking for people willing to get involved. Follow the QR code or visit beccaschmillfdn.org for more details.
