Curbing Trashy Behavior

Public trash cans are a convenience. They are meant to keep our town’s streets and parks litter-free. However, sometimes people see them as a work-around to that visit to the Recycling and Transfer station, or a shortcut to get rid of that truly nasty-smelling load. It’s not right, but is it illegal? The town is considering a change to its by-laws to dump this kind of behavior, and return the cans to their original purpose.
