Businesses had to become creative in order to survive the pandemic. For restaurants, this often meant coming up with outdoor dining space where none had existed before. The town was responsive, blocking off areas previously used for parking to allow for it. But what about the aesthetic experience of hitting the road (or parking lot) for a meal? Community organizations teamed up to add some color to cement barriers, seeking to make dining outside more enjoyable.
