When Town Meeting members gathered for their special session on October 4th, three articles loomed large on their docket. Two Community Preservation Act funding articles blurred the lines between historic preservation and supporting religious organizations. The town also wrestled with how to best approach the topic of the systemic racism that faces this community, reacting to incidents inside the borders of Needham and across the country.
