2020 Annual Town Meeting – Police Funding

The recent Annual Town Meeting is definitely a one to be remembered. It was held not only during a pandemic but also at a time nationwide protests against racial injustice were taking place every day.The Black Lives Matter movement has brought many issues to the forefront, including policing norms and police funding. Needham representatives and residents voiced their concerns over how local police department was funded at the Annual Town Meeting.
