Taking Time to Remember

August 8, 2024 • The Town of Needham recognized service members who were wounded in combat. On Wednesday, August 7th, members of the Needham VFW, the Needham Exchange Club, town residents and officials gathered at Memorial Park to read the names of the 88 people who were injured or were killed in active military duty as a result of combat with an enemy of the United States. It was cause for both reflection on loss and pride in service in the name of our country. Comments from the ceremony were shared on the Needham Channel News.
