It’s been a while since we were able to attend the Pollard Middle School Closing Ceremony. In the years since the pandemic (oh, so long ago, right?), our schedules never quite lined up. So we are pleased to have made it to this year’s event. Braced for rain, we were greeted instead by bright skies and warm temperatures–a beautiful setting for the students as they started their last summer before high school. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Pollard assistant principal Tammy Ghizzoni warns parents that the next four years will pass quickly, and that parents should seize these moments with their children. What better way to start, then by watching them kick off the next chapter in their lives?
