Aired February 9, 2023.
The Dining Collaborative of the Charles River Regional Chamber developed the Love Local campaign to encourage residents to dine locally and to support a Needham nonprofit, Circle of Hope, by holding a clothing drive at about 30 restaurants. It’s that time of year again. Couples and families are heading out to eat, as testaments of appreciation, as romantic gestures, or just as a way to experience some time together. But while sharing the love amongst yourselves is great, and the business generated is definitely appreciated by the restaurants, this year you can actually do even more with your meal. It is part of a partnership pulled together by the Charles River Regional Chamber, and the local community is the beneficiary.
