Technical difficulties prevented us from covering the January 3rd meeting of the Needham Planning Board in person, but it is a meeting that we are glad we didn’t miss. A new large-scale plan regarding 888 Great Plain Avenue was discussed at length, with the board debating what might be right for the property on the border of the Needham “Downtown” area. The heart of the meeting, however, was a frank discussion on what should the Planning Board bring in front of Town Meeting this May. From three-car garages to the rules regarding ADUs, it looks as if Town Meeting will have a lot to consider:
