The Needham Exchange Club 4th of July Parade is Independence Day done right. Neighbors gather to hear wonderful bands, see colorful and meaningful floats, and thrill to the marchers. The town’s fleet of vehicles ar on proud display, and town organizations call attention to their causes as well as kicking up a little festive fun to celebrate the country’s founding.
This year we had a bit of excitement when we first went on the air. Our signal wasn’t coming through, causing a mad scramble right before the parade reached our reviewing stand. We made it, however, and we are so grateful for those who came to watch the parade, and the patience of those who watched it from home.
