Bulfinch Development Hearing Begins

The Planning Board held a hearing for community members to share their thoughts about Bulfinch’s updated plan for laboratory, office, and retail space at 557 Highland Avenue in Needham.,
It is just the beginning for a proposal to redevelop the old Muzi Ford site. The Needham Planning Board opened a public hearing to garner community feedback on the plans being proposed for the Highland Avenue property. But while the official process was just launched, the Bulfinch Company’s campaign for the project is already full swing. They have held a number of meetings with their neighbors already, and have altered their plan in reaction to their feedback. But is this enough to gain their support? Yuxiao Yuan reports on the opening of the hearing, and tells us where the process is going to go next.
