A Day of Remembrance

For those who spend a lot of time in Needham, the Memorial Day Observances take on a certain familiar, comforting routine. Town officials, students, veterans and residents all gather at Memorial Park to give a moment of thanks and remembrance. That comfort was much needed as the events of the past few weeks, months and years have gotten us all to think more of what service, sacrifice and loss truly mean.
