Flowers can do a lot. They lift your spirit, tell you what season you are in, decorate your home and yard, and serve as a valuable link in our ecosystem. Well, in Needham, there is a type of flower that can do even more than that: It can teach you about a part of town history and even raise money for one of Needham’s best-loved institution.
The Needham History Center and Museum recently held their annual Pansy Sale. Before the event, we sent our cameras out to get the lowdown on the day’s events, and learn a little more about Needham’s favorite flower.
Miss the event, but still want to help out the Needham History Center? They have another big event coming up in just a couple of weeks. You can learn more about their Spring Into Springtime Gala and buy tickets by checking out needhamhistory.org.
