Over the past two years, we have gotten pretty used to hearing about all the struggles that local businesses have experienced due to the pandemic, and the different initiatives that are being undertaken to help. Another is on the way, this time courtesy of the federal and state government. The Town of Needham recently allocated a portion of the funds it will receive through the America Rescue Plan (ARPA) through a series of grants. Find out more in this report:
The loans reflect only a part of the plans that the town has for the funds, however. At the most recent Select Board meeting, the board heard of many different ways this money can help the town grow despite the pandemic.
