A Citizens’ Academy was held in Needham to help bring together the Needham Police Department and the community it serves. With tensions rising nation-wide, and hitting close to home, it was an opportunity to shed light on the process and procedures actually in place at the department, and to take those first steps in strengthening community relationships.
