NCTDC Endorses Vision for Diversity and Inclusion

Michael Greis, President of the Needham Channel’s Board of Directors, released a statement on July 22, 2021 in regard to the town’s Needham Unite Against Racism Initiative (NUARI) Vision Statement and Guiding Principals, which were completed earlier this year:

I am pleased to announce that, at our board meeting last night, the Needham Community Television Development Corporation (The Needham Channel) voted to adopt NUARI’s racial equity statement for the Town of Needham.

We also asked our policy subcommittee to begin assessing the practical implications and tangible steps on what we know is an ongoing, multi-year journey. Marc Mandel, our Executive Director, will meet with our staff to present the NUARI vision. Knowing our talented staff, I anticipate a lively and productive exploration of ways in which our work as a community resource will continue to advance this vision throughout Needham.
