Now showing here at needhamchannel.org is our brand new special “A Game to Remember,” which takes a look back on the 1994 Thanksgiving Football showdown between Needham and Wellesley. 25 years ago, the Rockets pulled off an incredible win over the Raiders in overtime and to celebrate, Mike Levin gathered some of the key people involved in the game and our broadcast. Scott Stevens (former TNC Play-By-Play Announcer), Roy Johan (former NHS Head Football Coach), as well as two of the 94 team captains, Dan Hopkin and Dan Scalia, joined Mike in studio to talk about how the game unfolded, as well as watch highlights, particularly the unbelievable game winner.
