SNOW DAY TUESDAY CAUSES TNC PROGRAMMING CHANGES

Due to the expected snowfall on Tuesday, March 14, the Town of Needham has not only closed all schools, but all town offices, including Town Hall, the RTS, the Public Library, the Center at the Heights and the Public Services Administration Building. This effects our programming here on The Needham Channel, as the Board of Selectmen meeting scheduled for 7pm on Tuesday night has been postponed.  The February 28 meeting will be broadcast on our Municipal Channel in its place at both 7pm on Tuesday and 6pm Wednesday. The incoming storm is also affected our sports coverage, as the Needham High School Boys Varsity Basketball State Semifinal game scheduled for Tuesday night at TD Garden has been moved to Wednesday at 6pm at WPI.  Our offices will be closed Tuesday, therefore the Girls Hockey State Semifinal game against Reading being played Monday night will not be ready for its debut airing on Tuesday on our Education Channel.  It will instead premiere Wednesday at 8pm on our Community Channel.
